On May 13, 2025, the “STSBL-ZBEUN Debate” event, organized in collaboration with the Department of Translation and Interpreting at Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University’s Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Saime Toptan Social Sciences High School, and the Western Culture and Literatures Student Community, was met with great enthusiasm.

Centered around the debate topic “Strict parenting creates more successful children,” students had the opportunity to express their ideas in an effective debate setting. Through the event, students had the chance to develop their critical thinking, persuasion skills, research abilities, and public speaking competence.
